It's been a fad, take a page from a Disney coloring book, pick a painting from a master, color in the page to mimic the style and colors of the master painting. Yay! This was actually a lot more fun than I was expecting!
yeah, it would have been fun if she had more detail in her tail, but the movie as a whole was fairly ambitious at the time, so I guess we'll have to forgive 'em. (at least they animated using underwater physics properly, I can't stand it when people don't! haha)
